Makaya graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, and a certificate in data fluency. With extensive experience in clinical, research, and academic settings, Makaya brings a well-rounded perspective to MCAT preparation and science education. She has worked as a research assistant in orthopedic science labs and contributed to abstracts presented at national orthopedic conferences.
